  • Kinetic Leasing Celebrates 20th Anniversary

    Al Hintz, President of Kinetic Leasing, held a luncheon with employees at its Fargo headquarters on February 20th to celebrate Kinetic’s 20th anniversary and to thank staff for their hard work. Al reviewed the history of the company, such as achieving the milestone in August 2018 of financing $1 billion of equipment since the company was founded. Said Al, “In the business world, all companies work to achieve a ‘prime’ position where all things work together to achieve results. I truly feel that, in the last two years, we have reached this point.” Staff joked that Al was a visionary for establishing the company on a date where its 20th anniversary would fall on 2/20/2020. He replied that he “sees” another great 20 years ahead for the company!

    Kinetic Leasing is pleased to welcome Sutton Lauinger to our sales team. Sutton, a native of Fargo, ND, graduated from NDSU in 2012 with a degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. He spent the previous seven years working in the non-profit sector, most recently as the Volunteer and Development Coordinator for Make-A-Wish® Foundation of North Dakota. He was instrumental in fostering relationships to help volunteers succeed in fundraising and special event planning, along with donor care, development activities, and mission advancement.   • CPC Awards Contract to Kinetic Leasing
    Cooperative Purchasing Connection (CPC)

    The Cooperative Purchasing Connection (CPC) has selected Kinetic Leasing to provide equipment lease financing to its members, including county and city municipalities and other governmental agencies, schools, and non-profits. The CPC serves nearly 3,200 agencies in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

    The CPC provides its members with the same purchasing power of their much larger counterparts. Its competitively solicited contracts meet state guidelines and eliminate the need for time-consuming bids and multiple price quotes.     Kinetic Leasing is pleased to announce that Kari Hage has been promoted to Vice President, Special Projects. Kari joined Kinetic Leasing in 2014 as a Funding Coordinator, and for the past two years she took on an expanded role as Operations Manager. She spent the previous five years working in the health insurance industry as an analyst and project manager.   • Kinetic Leasing Reaches Out to Businesses Affected by Hurricanes

    Kinetic Leasing has reached out to its business customers in Texas and Florida to find out if they were impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Said Kinetic Leasing President, Alan Hintz, “Living up to our core values and having genuine concern for our customers is very important to us.” Business customers in the affected region that sustained damages or were unable to operate due to lack of electricity and phone service were offered the chance to defer payments. Added Hintz, “We are a small company, and we differentiate ourselves by being flexible and offering a deferment of one or two months of payments to help our customers to get back on their feet. Customers didn’t have to call us and ask for help.     Ashley Cook, Vice President, Small Ticket Leasing, has passed the 8-hour online exam to become a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP). The exam was hosted by International Decision Systems and KLC Financial in Minneapolis, MN. The CLFP designation is the preeminent credential for equipment leasing and financing professionals throughout the world who have demonstrated competency through testing of knowledge, continuing education, and a commitment to their business practices and dedication to the industry. Only 421 individuals in the world are currently certified as CLFPs. Congrats, Ashley!

    Kinetic Leasing has hired Jo Olson as a full-time accountant. Before joining Kinetic Leasing, Jo was the accountant for her family-owned heating and air conditioning business, and most recently for a local church.   • Kinetic Leasing to Sell Additional Preferred Stock

    Kinetic Leasing is pleased to announce, as a result of its sizable growth over the past few years, that it will be selling up to $2 million of a Series 3 Preferred Stock. President Al Hintz stated, “With our equipment lease portfolio growing to over $230 million in size, we are in need of raising additional equity capital to keep up with our growth. This additional Preferred Stock will be blended with additional borrowings from our community bank partners to provide us with a reasonable cost of funds to ensure our profitability continues at is has in the past many years.” Kinetic Leasing commenced the selling phase of these shares today, and will continue to sell to prospective investors through September 30, 2016. The offering boasts an attractive 10% dividend yield, paid quarterly, and is being offered to accredited investors.

    Congratulations to staff and relatives and friends of staff who ran a “half” (13.1 miles) in the Fargo Marathon on May 21, 2016. Not pictured is Molly Masseth, fiancè of Ryan Oas. This year’s half marathon course started inside the Fargodome, turned south through the NDSU Campus, and on to the Broadway Mile—right down the heart of downtown Fargo. From there, the route continued past historic homes on 8th and 9th streets and finished back in the Fargodome. The punishing run isn’t for the faint of heart. Bravo, everyone!

    In October, Kinetic Leasing moved into a brand new, 9,000 square foot corporate office building in Fargo, ND. The new facility was needed to support Kinetic Leasing’s tremendous growth. The relocation was celebrated with an open house on November 19th. President Al Hintz thanked family, friends, and the business community for making Kinetic Leasing one of the top 100 largest equipment financing companies in the U.S. The Fargo–Moorhead Chamber of Commerce congratulated Kinetic Leasing on its success and presented it with a plaque for its “positive impact on our regional economy…”
